Specialization(s): We seek an outstanding candidate who can teach both in their specialization and contribute to other aspects of the undergraduate and graduate curriculum.

Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
This full time tenure track position is in the undergraduate and graduate information and library science programs, beginning Fall 2012. The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to three courses per semester and conduct scholarly research. Reassigned time for administrative duties may be applicable. Additional faculty responsibilities include student advising and committee assignments.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants should have an earned doctorate in library and information science, or related discipline; an established and current record of scholarly productivity; and the ability to contribute to national visibility of the department, school, and university including through inclusion of undergraduate and graduate students in significant research.

Preferred Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a demonstrated record of scholarship and successful publication, record of teaching excellence, and evidence of ability to teach online courses.
