Undergraduate Learning Liaison Librarian

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for innovative, collaborative, user-focused applicants for the inaugural position of Undergraduate Learning Liaison Librarian.

Reporting to the Director of Research and Education, responsibilities include: serving as the Libraries’ central contact with the Freshmen Composition program and other academic and non-academic departments that support the first-year experience; providing research and technology assistance through individual and small group consultations and online user support; helping to shape new directions for initiatives that support student learning and faculty development; actively participating in assessment to articulate the Libraries’ impact on student learning and to support continuous improvement of instructional programs and practices; teaching curriculum-integrated instructional sessions including those for first-year programs and other targeted courses in the campus undergraduate curriculum; collaborating with teaching faculty to develop course content; applying technology to teaching; outreach and campus engagement that expands connections and builds partnerships; and working in a team environment with a focus on continuously enhancing the user experience.
