Vice Dean, USC Libraries (#282)


The University of Southern California (USC) Libraries seek an energetic administrator with strong interpersonal, technical, and administrative skills to assist the Dean in leading the operations of USC Libraries. The Vice Dean (#282) reports to the Dean, serves as a member of the Dean’s Cabinet, and promotes the integration and coordination of library operations. The Vice Dean works closely with library administrators, librarians, library staff, faculty, students, researchers and university administration to highlight the impact and encourage the integration of library services to support USC’s learning and research mission in an innovative and responsive way.

Requirements: ALA-accredited MLS typically required; at least 7 years of progressively responsible experience devoted to developing and managing operations in a large academic, research, or public library is required.  USC values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity in employment.
