Social Work Librarian (#277)

The University of Southern California (USC) Libraries seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking librarian to support the School of Social Work. The Social Work Librarian (#277) is expected to be creative in identifying and solving problems. We seek candidates motivated by a passion to develop innovative library services and with a curiosity about the future of librarianship. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences; MLS from an ALA-accredited program or non-U.S. equivalent is typically required for a librarian appointment at USC. Candidates must demonstrate teaching abilities; understanding of reference services; evidence of knowledge of social science resources; proven experience with current technologies, especially those relating to instruction and Web 2.0.USC is an EO/AA Employer.
