Digital Projects Librarian


Clemson University Libraries is seeking a technology-savvy, flexible and enthusiastic Digital Projects Librarian to join its Digital Initiatives & Information Technology unit. This is a 12-month tenure-track permanent position with faculty rank and status. Clemson library faculty participate in library-wide planning and governance, work in a shared decision-making environment, and are encouraged to be active in university service and professional organizations.

The Digital Initiatives & Information Technology unit is the proud recipient of an IMLS National Leadership grant for the collaborative project, The Open Parks Grid.  The Open Parks Grid is envisioned to the gateway to parks information and includes the digitization of over 3 million pages of material held by the National Parks Service and the State Parks of NC, SC, and GA. The Digital Projects Librarian will be an integral part of this grant project.
