Electronic Resources & Serials Librarian

Rollins College is looking for a service-oriented librarian eager to help shape a dynamic, forward-looking liberal arts college library through the ongoing organization and support of access to databases and online serials holdings, including knowledgebase maintenance, licensing, and usage analysis.
Under the direction of the Head of Digital Services & Systems, the Electronic Resources & Serials Librarian will work with the Digital Services & Systems department and the rest of the library to manage the Serials Solutions knowledgebase of online and print serials holdings, to compile and analyze usage data from multiple sources, to negotiate contracts and licenses for digital products, and to most effectively present and make accessible electronic resources and serials to the Rollins community. This is a faculty position. The successful candidate will, like all full time librarians at Rollins, participate in reference service, instruction, and liaison with academic departments.
MLS from an ALA-accredited library school, or an equivalent degree. Preferred qualifications include experience with digital serials and electronic resource management systems, ideally the Serials Solutions suite; knowledge of trends in academic library licensing and ability to deal with library vendors; ability to collect, manage, analyze, and communicate numerical information accurately and clearly; and demonstrated knowledge and experience with electronic and web-based resources and systems used in libraries.
The successful candidate will demonstrate most if not all of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: the abilities to communicate well orally and in writing, to interact with the public effectively and courteously, and to work in a team environment and independently; an appreciation for the liberal arts and the role of the library in higher education; enthusiasm for teaching and experience with information literacy instruction with groups and individuals; and the potential to present, publish, or otherwise contribute to the library profession.
This position is a faculty position.
