Business Librarian

Western Kentucky University seeks applications for the position of Business Librarian at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Library Public Services. This is a 10-month tenure-track faculty position.

Responsibilities include: Participation in collection development activities, including selection of print and digital resources, library instruction, general reference desk duties, liaison work with faculty in the College of Business, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: MLS from an ALA-accredited program and a completed second Masters degree in business or related subject. Applicant must be able to meet the promotion and tenure criteria of the department which includes publication, participation in university and library committee work and professional societies. Significant coursework in Business, Economics and/or closely allied fields preferred.

Expected Starting Salary: $42,000 annually
