Physical Sciences Librarian

The Rutgers University Libraries seek an outstanding Physical Sciences Librarian to serve as liaison to the departments of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy, and Geology on the New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus. Working closely with departmental faculty as well as colleagues in the New Brunswick, Newark and Camden libraries, the Physical Sciences Librarian will be responsible for collection development of online and print resources to support the research and educational missions of the Rutgers Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy, and Geology communities. Candidate should have knowledge of current and emerging technologies and the ability to apply these technologies to a diverse range of library applications. Will participate in a variety of instructional activities (general, subject-specific and advanced), as well as provide reference services (including digital/virtual).
